Peak Vision Arts Christmas Showcase
Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th November (Bonfire weekend)
89 Market Street, Chapel en le Frith; 10.30-16.00 both days
In the autumn of 2018 myself and a few other local artists started a group called peak Vision Arts to put my home town of Chapel en le Frith on the map in the art world and we kicked off with a successful Derbyshire Open Arts event in the spring of 2019. The pandemic then got in the way, so it is only now we are back to real live events. Our special showcase at the Bonfire November weekend will be a lovely event where we can show and sell our art work as well as interact with the public again. The six women artists work in a range of genres, mixed media, textiles, felt art, 3D design, painting and ceramics. We have a cosy home at our high street in a recently refurbished community venue.
Courtney Gallery, St John’s Street, Ashbourne
A successful post-pandemic re-launch of the popular St Jon Street Gallery in Ashbourne. I have enjoyed being brought back together with other artists for the launch exhibition RECONNECT. This challenged me to focus on biodiversity, in particular endangered species in the Scandinavian Arctic.
The Artful Pigeon
A great addition to the Glossop art scene, this new gallery launched late summer 2021, and I was invited to show my Becoming Real series there with birds, brooches, prints and cards.
