… and thank you for visiting my website!

Here you’ll find regular updates and news about my work, exhibitions and other events.

As a versatile mixed-media artist, I believe art should tell a meaningful story to the beholder. So, as you browse  through this site you will see that my narrative style of work is based on memories of places and experiences, yet illustrated in a way that can be interpreted individually by the viewer. You can read more about me and my style of work here.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any feedback, or just to say hello, I would love to hear from you.

Peak Vision Arts Christmas Showcase

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th November (Bonfire weekend)

89 Market Street, Chapel en le Frith; 10.30-16.00 both days

In the autumn of 2018 myself and a few other local artists started a group called peak Vision Arts to put my home town of Chapel en le Frith on the map in the art world and we kicked off with a successful Derbyshire Open Arts event in the spring of 2019. The pandemic then got in the way, so it is only now we are back to real live events. Our special showcase at the Bonfire November weekend will be a lovely event where we can show and sell our art work as well as interact with the public again. The six women artists work in a range of genres, mixed media, textiles, felt art, 3D design, painting and ceramics. We have a cosy home  at our high street in a recently refurbished community venue.

Your Art Cards

I wanted to highlight a new initiative by an artist friend known as Original Giclee who has set up online sites for offering artists’ cards, Your Art Cards, and artists’ prints, Your Art Prints. There are at present 12 artists represented, which offers a marvellous range of styles and subject matter; I am proud to be a a part of this project at this time with my two new series Moon almanac and Becoming Real. My own greeting cards are only available through this outlet. Click here for more prints available on my web site.
