As a versatile mixed-media artist, I believe art should tell a meaningful story to the beholder. So, as you browse  through this site you will see that my narrative style of work is based on memories of places and experiences, yet illustrated in a way that can be interpreted individually by the viewer. Events September 2026:

Hope Valley Art Trail by Rail 26th–27th September | 10.00–17.00

You will find me in the women’s Institute Chinley.

We have 40 fantastic artists participating across 13 venues within walking distance of train stations between Chinley and Grindleford. Artists will be showcasing their work, providing demonstrations, and delivering workshops and activities. The event is self-led, so you can move along the trail at your leisure. 

Everyone is encouraged to leave the car at home and hop on and off at any of the participating Hope Valley stations, or explore the valley using the local bus services. It’s a brilliant way to enjoy the beauty of the valley at a gentler pace, cutting carbon while supporting local artists and small businesses along the route. 

If you’re travelling by bus, or a mix of bus and train for the day, the Derbyshire Wayfarer could be a cheaper way to get around multiple locations. We advise you purchase your ticket in advance, as not all train stations offer this ticket. Full details can be found on the website here.
