Two lovely festive shows coming up in November offering a unique opportunity to browse and buy direct from the artist in a cosy setting. First we have the Peak District Artisans Winter Art Fair at the Whitworth Centre, where there will be 17 artists presenting different disciplines, from fine art, to ceramics, glass, textiles and basketry. The centre has ample parking facilities and a popular café, offering home cooked lunch as well as cakes and coffee.

My second show in November is the annual Peak Vison Arts Showcase, at No 89 Chapel en le Frith SK23 90JD. The six artists welcome you to see their new work ranging from oil paintings, to felt art, ceramics, jewellery and mixed media, including 3D designs such as lamp shades, cushions and note books. We run a café specially for this occasion with heavenly cakes all home made.  Enjoy the opportunity to chat to the artists themselves, and come away with that special gift that you wouldn’t find in the high street.
